I haven't posted in a while so here are some random makeup shots from today.

Birthday time

It was my friend's birthday yesterday and two other friends and I surprised her with a visit.

I did it

I bought a dress in a local shop. It was really cheap and I needed a summer dress.

And here's a simple coordinate with this dress.

Yes, that's the real point of this post. I had my hair cut. It was so damaged that I couldn't stand looking at it anymore. The back is shorter and the front longer. I liked this new short style at first, but then I saw this picture on tumblr and I started to miss my long hair... Hopefully it will grow back healthier and nicer.

Is interior design fashion-related enough to be blogged about here? And is changing a few things in your bedroom even interior design? XD

Anyway, the picture frame arrangement on my wall in now complete. I finally found a black oval frame in a nearby antique shop.

 

I also bought a cheap plastic one, which I had to spray paint black because it was originally white.

One more thing I bought - a small lamp.

It was broken so the guy from the antique shop repaired it for me, and I even got a discount :)

Speaking about shopping... I also got this, and I don't regret it XD

I was excited to find out that Inglot has a new line of cracked nail polishes called "Crazy Nails", and I just had to buy the black one. I also bought a silver polish to peek from the cracks. I won't show you what it looks like on my nails, cause they're really short now and I don't like it XD

Apparently they've been available for sale for a while but my local Inglot has only recently started carrying them.

If anyone ever had any doubts about what makeup brand I usually use, here is a proof XD

 

Not really my favourite brand, but the best one I can afford to use on a daily basis. 

On the topic of makeup - this is what it looked like today:

Dreamnight at the ZOO

Today I volunteered at an event organised at our local zoo for children from the oncology ward. I was face-painting, and it was messy, so I couldn't wear anything fancy. I still dressed up in lolita, thinking that children might enjoy seeing a princess-y character XD

Unfortunately, there was absolutely NO time to take any pictures with the kids. I had to paint some 30 spiders and spiderwebs, 50 bats (!!!), 20 dolphins, 10 cats an many, many more.
I only have this one picture with the rest of the face-painting staff.
(In case you can't tell - there's a bat on my face XD)
