First of all, I'm really happy that my friend Perplexity is now in Japan.
Last Sunday we hung out in Shinjuku and Harajuku and visited a few lolita shops, including Closet Child.
And look what I found there.
Vampire Requiem skirt in red for only 14,800 yen. Would you be able to say no? I surely wasn't.
I also bought a Carina e Arlequin hair accessory at Atelier Pierrot.
And this is what I wore on Sunday.
OP & socks: Moi meme Moitie
blouse: Innocent World
shoes: Bodyline
jewellery: Claire's
The day would not be complete without some puri!
Our names are wrongly labeled but I like it anyway XD

Random lolita things
Here are some lolita items I bought since my latest wardrobe post.
In chronological order:
Also, here's a really casual outfit from a small shopping trip. I wanted to compare the shades of white of the dress and the socks I wanted to buy, so I had to have it with me. I figured wearing it would be the best option XD
In chronological order:
1. A skirt by Moi meme Moitie
I was considering buying it when I first saw in the shop. But with the bottom being so rich and elaborate, the high waist seemed empty. I think it's really asking for some military-style button in two rows. In the end I didn't buy it because I didn't want to spend over 33,000 yen on something that wasn't 100% perfect. Yet I kept thinking about it. And then I saw it in Closet Child for 12,800 (minus a point card discount). I'm glad I refrained from buying it for the original price.2. A pair of Chantilly socks
I want to make a proper masquerade-themed outfit but I still don't know where to wear it XD3. My dream shoes from Metamorphose!
I was so excited when I saw them in the Laforet shop! I'd been dreaming about them for years! I'm so happy they re-released them!4. Flocky Chandelier onepiece by Alice and the Pirates
I bought it secondhand from Usagi Youhinten. 5. A pair of BPN socks
I bought them specifically to wear them with the AatP dress. 6. A handmade skirt by Kaha
It arrived at my doorstep three days ago. I'm going to write a review later. Also, here's a really casual outfit from a small shopping trip. Lolita shopping and the new Moitie print
I went on a small shopping trip today to Marui One and Laforet. I had one main goal in mind and a few minor ones. Unfortunately, I spent too much money on the main one, so only one of my minor goals could be achieved.
This is what I wore:
blouse: Moitie
skirt: Metamorphose
everything else: random shops
Of course it's cold in December, so I wore my BPN coat. When I went into the BPN shop in Laforet the shop assistant had the most adorable reaction. She admired how I looked in the coat and thanked me profusely for shopping there XD
This time I didn't buy anything at BPN though. Instead I chose Moitie and Atelier Pierrot.
My main goal, the new Jewellery print onepiece in black:
I really liked the other colourways, too, especially green and red. However, I wasn't sure I liked the gold print. Of course it looks beautiful but it makes me think of Christmas so much that I don't think I would wear it in other seasons. If the print was silver (like on the black dress) or black I would have chosen the red dress.
I tried on the skirt too but the high waist seems to be cut a little strangely and it wasn't very flattering on me. The OP, however, fits like a dream.
And this is the minor goal of my shopping trip, an Atelier Pierrot blouse.
I had my eyes set on it for a while. I decided that if I have some money left by the end of the month I would buy it. I did have enough money, so now I'm its proud owner.

New items; Christmas and other randomness
Let me start chronologically.
1. Here are some small items I bought... well, a while ago.
A Shappo phone strap, Majolica Majorca eye pencil, Claire's hair pins and a barrette from Paris Kid's. The hair accessories were bought especially for the JeJ outfit I posted some days ago.
2. An h.NAOTO Frill cutsaw for a Christmas tea party at their shop.
3. A care package from my mum: a bag full of sweets and Inglot makeup. Right in time for St Nicholas' Day! I got it on December 6, in the morning. Perfect timing!
Triple brown eyeshadow set, purple nail polish, reddish nail polish, caramel coloured duo lip gloss and a black eye pencil. One can never have too many eye pencils. I use them up so quickly...
4. Moitie items from Closet Child. A blouse for 5900 yen and a headdress for 1800 yen. Unfortunately the lace on the blouse turned out to be a completely different colour than the print on Silent Moon so I can't wear them together... Which also means that I have nothing to wear this blouse with.
5. Lastly, a Christmas gift I got today from my 9 year old student. It's a hair tie with a dusty pink flower.

recent lolita shopping
As I said in my previous post, I went shopping to Marui One but I didn't buy anything there. I tried on a few items but I didn't like the way they looked on me.
However, Closet Child had lots of new Moitie items and I found a blouse I really liked. It's a little too big in the bust but the girls said that they didn't really notice, so I bought it anyway.
Back in Marui One I tried on a gorgeous BPN coat but I didn't have enough money with me. I went back today I finally bought it. It was the last one! Lucky!
Here's an official photo from their website:
It looks much better in person. I feel like a Russian aristocrats when I wear it :D

Shibuya 109
Finally I found some time to go shopping. I have almost no autumn-appropriate clothes (I mean style-wise) and it's already the end of October.
It felt a little weird to shop in gyaru shops at first but I'm getting used to it now. I might actually introduce more rock gal elements into my casual closet. Though, to be honest, only when I put on a frilly dress I feel like myself and I wish lolita was more practical for everyday wear. But because it's not, I need some casual gyaru elements :)
Shopping - the final result!
GLAD NEWS - a cardigan/dress with a skull print and studs.GLAD NEWS is on its way to becoming my favourite casual brand,
Rose Fan Fan - a really cute leo print cardi for only 3000 yen.
Durer - 2 things, both on sale.
I had my eyes on this one for a longer while. As someone raised in a catholic country I found this blasphemous print way too tempting ;P
I'm still not sure whether I should have bought it. I love the colour, the fabric is really soft and comfortable, it makes me look slim, and it's work-appropriate too, yet I'm not sure it's really me, and I don't think I like those bell-shaped sleeves. But I'll probably wear the hell out of it anyway. Sometimes the things I'm not sure about turn out to be my most often worn items.
Ingni - a wine red chiffon blouse. It matches my lolita clothes, and it's going to look great with casual outfits too. The best thing I bought today <3
I spent too much today, so probably no more shopping for me this month XD

Halloween shopping
This is what I bought for my Halloween costume: a dress by Victorian Maiden (from Closet Child) and a shawl by Innocent World. After changing my mind 245 times I decided to go as Dracula's bride.
Something like this had never happened to me before. I wanted to buy a new outfit, I had enough money to do so, but no ideas whatsoever. Usually I have too many ideas and no money. This time every idea that crossed my mind seemed wrong and uninspired. Only when I saw this dress I thought, 'Maybe I found my inspiration'.
I'm going to wear it with this:
And today I went to Nippori to look for some tulle to make a veil. I think I'm going to use this headband as a base:
If you have any suggestions, do tell! I still don't know how to accessorize or what makeup and hair would be best.

Kera Shop Snap
I went to Maui One in Shinjuku today for Kera Shop Snap. There were quite a lot of people, but it wasn't awfully crowded. I got there a few minutes after 1 pm, and I think I waited maybe 35 minutes to have my pictures taken.
There were so many wonderfully dressed people! I'm sure it will be difficult to choose whose picture should be published.
I decided to wear Beardsley Rose Alice JSK because it's made by Alice and the Pirates and they have a shop in Marui One so i thought it was appropriate. I coordinated it mostly with Innocent World items. The coordinate isn't really original, I wore a very similar one in the past, but today I wanted to look right, not necessarily unique.
Everyone who participated got a small gift - a bag of candy.
After the event I browsed some shops in Marui One and ended up buying an Innocent World bag. I really needed an all black lolita bag.
All in all, a very good day, even though I have a cold and now I'm sitting at home coughing and sneezing.

Recent shopping, lolita, gyaru and everyday items
Some new items I bought in the last week or so.
1. The already shown Atelier Pierrot corset skirt, one of the items from my lolita wishlist.
At first I wanted to go to Closet Child to get this dress in black, but I randomly decided to check out AP first. No regrets.
2. Tights, already ripped after one use XD It's a shame, they were hot.
3. A top from Listen Flavor. I don't normally wear pink, but I love this chandelier print. It's very comfortable too and I feel great in it.
4. Listen Flavor pass holder. Now I feel like a real Tokyo girl, with my own Suica and a cute holder for it XD
5. Shorts from Cecil McBee! I hate buying trousers in Japan. I know I'm not fat, not skinny either but definitely not fat, yet that's exactly what some Japanese shops make me feel. There are plenty of girls here way bigger than me so what is wrong if the manufacturers and their way of thinking? Fortunately, Cecil McBee isn't as crazy as GLAD NEWS and their M fits, while GLAD NEWS' L doesn't.
6. Heroine Make face powder. Great covering, stays matte for a pretty long time. It was rather cold today, though, so we'll see how it works when it's burning hot outside.
7. And last but not least, two cute mugs in a 100 yen shop.

Silent Moon
It was supposed to be sent in July. It's the end of August now, and Moitie FINALLY sent my dress to my shopping service. I've just received it.
Isn't it gorgeous? It's Silent Moon black x white short OP. The fabric is really light, great for the summer. Too bad this dress from the summer collection was sent out when all the other shops are already offering Autumn collections -.-"
Anyway, I can't wait to wear it!

I run because my dog makes me
Why such a title? I saw a guy wearing such a t-shirt on a train today and I thought it was funny XD
The last two days were a little strange. I went to Shibuya 109 twice, bought more than I should've, and even got a compliment on my dress from a shop staff. In other words: two complete days among gyarus, not lolitas.
I went back to Shibuya 109 today because I couldn't stop thinking about a dress I saw at GLAD NEWS yesterday. I finally gave in and bought it.
It's a strapless dress + T-shirt set. The elastic band of the dress is a little tight and not very comfortable but I don't care. Leopard print + a skull + Disney font; I just fell in love with this combination XD
I also bought a pair of shoes from Lagrace Mart. Not every shoe brand in Japan carries my size, but surprisingly LM does. I really wanted a pair of brown shoes to wear with the dress I bought yesterday, and this pair was on sale, so I couldn't say no :D And they're really comfortable, too!
And I bought a ticket for DaizyStripper's oneman in SHIBUYA-AX on August 21, which means that I have to be back in Japan by that date.

100th entry
I realised something while shopping at Shibuya 109 today. Gyaru is much easier than lolita. Easier to coordinate outfits and far less pricy.
This is the final result of today's shopping trip.
I like some gyaru clothes for casual days and I really wanted a maxi dress, one of those that are in style with gals nowadays. I found this cute black and white one on sale. I didn't really pay attention to the brands, but the tag says Secret Magic.
It has a lovely romantic feel to it and it's really comfortable. Also, I saw a very similar one in another shop and the sign over it said "New Arrival" so I suppose this style is still going to be in fashion next season XD
I wanted a shrug to wear over it but the one the shop assistant suggested was too expensive for me. In the end I bought this set from MILSQUR; and while I like the set as a whole, I mostly just wanted the shrug for the dress.
I also bought a belt at Grandedge.

I'd post the purikura I took today with a friend but I have no way of scanning it right now.
