Long time no see. I wonder if anyone visits this blog these days.
I decided to come back to blogging but this time I will do it for real. I am starting a new fashion blog on WordPress. Hopefully I can create a little more professional space than Bloody Fashionista ever was. Wish me luck and follow me here:

Goodbye, 2012
I apologize for the lack of posts recently. I haven't felt like wearing lolita in a long while. Somehow whenever I try to put an outfit together, it feels wrong, overdone. Uncreative.
Living in Japan, the birthplace of lolita, made me realize that this fashion is really something different than I imagined. I thought it was an innovative mix of epochs, and approximation of different cultures, all put together to create something new. Something that breaks barriers by creating a new quality. But how can it be so, if the people who wear this fashion and make up this scene, don't even realize where the elements of their style come from? Isn't lolita heavily inspired by historical fashion? "This is cute, and that is cute! Let's put it together to make it even cuter!" That seems to be the only rule here. I feel that not enough people care about the roots, good design, creativity.
I'm not leaving lolita, but I'm not going to force myself to wear it if I don't feel good in it. For now I think I'll stick to a more casual rock style.
This is my last lolita outfit post for now. I hope to post more everyday outfits soon.
Also, here are some photos from Christmas Eve. I need some outfit shots in this dress, but these will have to do for now.

Versailles Halloween Masquerade
The day before Halloween Versailles played a special concert for their fanclub. It was a masquerade-themed event, and everyone was expected to wear masks. The members themselves were all in costumes.
I bought a new dress and prepared a matching set of nails for this occasion.
Unfortunately all of the pictures were taken after the gig, when my hair became flatter, and my corset loosened.
Still inside the livehouse.
And outside. They threw us out quite fast.
Hair...
... and make up...
... and nails.
Outfit rundown:
OP & blouse: Atelier Pierrot
hair accessories: Carine e Arlequin, Claire's
necklace & earrings: Bijou Brigitte
shoes: Bodyline

Catch up post
I was playing with makeup the other day. I haven't used much colourful makeup recently. It's been just brown and black for me. So here's some purple for a change.
A few days ago I bought something I never thought I'd buy.
Flat. Heavy. Unfeminine. So not my style. Yet I love them.
And I got this PEACE NOW shirt at Closet Child yesterday for only 1700 yen.
That's it for now! I want to start taking more outfit shots but we'll see about that.

Special Amazing Band
I still can't get over the fact that Masashi, Hizaki, and Kaya called their session band "Special Amazing Band".
Anyway, this is what I wore to see them.
Right after the show.
Back home, with my make up touched up and my hair fixed.
Outfit rundown:
JSK: Innocent World
blouse: Btssb
shoes: Bodyline
rest: offbrand

Late birthday post
September 1 was my birthday. To celebrate, my friends and I had a girls night out at one of the many Alice-themed cafes in Tokyo.
The pictures we took are not the best quality, but I hope you enjoy them anyway.
We were sat in the middle of a maze.
The beautiful menu looks like an antique book.
Our drink arrived first. They did not look to be Alice-themed despite their names, but they looked and tasted great anyway.
Vegetable salad was served as an appetizer.
Cat's tail pizza!
The best part of any meal - desserts.
One of the amazing gifts I received. A bottle of delicious strawberry and ginger flavoured liqueur. Thank you girls!
Our whole group. I know that at least one person in this photo doesn't like to show her face. I hope the rest don't mind.
Outfit rundown:
JSK: Alice and the Pirates

So... long time no see?
I went to Vampire Cafe with some friends a while ago.
Photographing all black outfits in artificial light? Isn't it lovely.
At least the purikura turned out nice.
The way the food is served is so tacky, I just can't help but love it.
A tortilla cross and a chocolate coffin? Why not!
Some other day I bought this dress with a cherry print.
I haven't worn lolita much recently. Whenever I try, it just feels wrong. But this skirt was made by my grandma and I wanted to wear it.
skirt: handmade
cutsaw & socks: Moi meme Moitie
corset/overskirt: BPN
hat: MOHITO
shoes: Bodyline
And this is what was written on my friend's dress:
