Designer inspiration for lolita, part 2

Again, fashion images that can be inspirational for lolitas. And for anyone else, really, because they're all gorgeous images from the best fashion magazines and with beautiful models.

I chose some of these images because the silhouette is similar to the lolita silhouette, or because the details, such as bows or lace, might appeal to lolitas' taste. Or because the overall aesthetics seemed appropriate.

There are all sorts of images, sweet ones and those that should appeal to more gothic tastes. Most of them are recent, but there are some older ones too.

30 pictures ahead. Let's start with the classics.

Designer inspiration for lolita, part 1

The following images are from recent designers' campaigns. I do not claim that they're in any way lolita, or that they were inspired by lolita. But I think that they can be inspirational for lolitas and aristocrats, especially those with a general interest in fashion, ot those who like to find their inspiration in unexpected places.

I will make more post like this one, with runway images and fashion editorials,

All of the images were found on fashiongonerogue.com.

OK! Ready? Let's go!

2011 lolita trends?

This is what I think lolita fashion of 2011 will look like.

1. Mori girl and dolly kei influences.

In the last two years or so mori girl became huge. This fashion tribe seems to be influencing every other style, including lolita and gyaru. Last summer season mori-gyaru combination was a big hit. In lolita we don't have such a clear idea of "seasons" and sometimes it's hard to tell when a given trend becomes in, and when it's already outdated. But the mori trend is definitely there, no matter when it started or who started it.

If you just take a look at the daily_lolita community on livejournal where lolitas from all over the world post their daily outfits, you'll see how many people are inspired by mori girl fashion. Some of the girls who call their outfits "mori" wear outfits that could easily be labeled "classic". They choose florals, brown, add a bit of fur, but otherwise their outfits remain classic lolita and don't really need the additional label of mori.

I ordered a Demonia bag from Restyle webshop. It was on sale, I paid 150 zł. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift for myself.
This is what the bag was supposed to look like:
